Studio Backdrops Design and Printing - University of California at Riverside
Today a new printed backdrop design goes out to the University of California at Riverside. The studio backdrop was designed and printed from an image sent to us by the client. The image needed slight adjustment, hoping for more vibrant colors. After touch up, as per our usual, we sent the client the edited image for approval. I thought you all might like to see the original as well:

Michael Balbi inlaying carpet as part of a custom job for Bank of America
As our common reader knows, we do just about anything. In this case, we are cutting and inlaying a logo made of one color of carpet into another color for a stage set layout. The speaker will be standing near the logo during the stage presentation for stockholders, while being surrounded by graphics we printed and attached to steel frames.
This is an image of Michael Balbi inlaying carpet as part of a custom job for Bank of America. He has his happy face on.

Lewisville Broadcast Set design
In this fun little pictorial, you can view one of our TV set designs going from the computer, to the shop, and finally to the studio.
Our typical process is like this:
- Client contacts us with request
- We create a design example in 3D, emailing it to all involved
- A little back and forth until everyone is happy with the layout, colors, and such
- The broadcast set is fully built in our shop, then dismantled and sent
- The set is finally assembled on location
Here are a few images of a set design we completed for the Lewisville career and technology center in Plano, Texas. Sadly, the studio lighting wasn’t on when the installed image was taken.

A small TV set design for the Checks And Balances webcast
Today I received two images from our installer (The great Michael Balbi) of broadcast studio sets he completed installing on location in Arkansas and Tennessee. I made a post previously with images of these broadcast sets in our warehouse as we were completing the final touches. If you would like to check that post out as well, please click here.
These small broadcast sets were perfect for the space provided, not wasting an inch. This gave both the economic web cast and the university a professional appearance. These images are prior to setting up the studio lighting.
