Today we shipped a broadcast multimedia studio set for Monroe, NJ High School. The set will be used for inter-school communications and training students for futures in the broadcast industry. These pictures are when it was still set up in our shop. We will get some sent to us after they have completed setting it back up to show you the real thing in action.

Yesterday we struck (took down and packed up) the exhibit we designed and built for Carolina’s Medical Center. It was at a show comprised of different branches of Carolina’s Healthcare System.

The most fun about it was that we were at the Metrolina Expo. What makes that fun you ask? They charge $2.00 for a bottle of water. I was super thirsty. Wondering how well the vending machine was programmed, After putting in the money I hit all the buttons as fast as I could (about to lose a game on the playstation kind of fast). For my efforts I received FOUR bottles of water

ACJL– this television studio set was designed and built by Gelbach Designs for the American Center for Law and Justice. It features a 20′ curved back wall, mobile walls to add depth, LCD monitors with stands, a carpeted riser, and a simple but effective news desk. Add translucent frosted panels, and 120 sq. ft. of printed panels, and you have a recipe for success.

12 RSS icons with the same 3d blocky glass theme, released to the public domain. These Icons are in the .png (portable network graphics) format, and have perfect transparency that can be used on any background. They are well suited as a more impressive image to click for RSS subscription.

I was done with all the files before I realized how pretentious and melodramatic ‘Metropolis Abstract’ is for a RSS icon collection. I did take that title off the  image you see above. However, I hadn’t the slightest urge to go back and rename all the different size PNGs.  So, sorry about that  ; )

The charismatic ladies of CHS came by the shop today to select which images will be used for their trade show booth. The booth will be set up at the Metrolina Fairgrounds on August 18th. An image of the selected prints is below.

In other news our large solvent printer was very rude to me today. Additionally, we are nearing completion with the television studio set we have been working on for the past month. The client is very happy, and images of the set have been placed on the desktops of all the computers in their rather large organization.
